Tahini is best known as one of the main ingredients in hummus. It is also widely used in Holy Land cuisine, including in nutritious vegetable salads, meat dishes, and desserts.
Best enjoyed: Mixed with honey or grape molasses, blended into hummus, drizzled over avocado, glazed over meat and fish, or as a dip or sauce for fish and meat.
Ingredients: Ground toasted sesame seeds.
